I do know the downloads you pointed to. Not quite clear to me though, where exactly the maps are included in order to fix the problem...

Seems as if some new maps are missing in my installation folder. Do they all come with full monty or f. ex. Africa map with The Ace of Spades? What are all maps called in my installation and where do I find them for solo download to fix the problem if they are missing/crashed?

Sorry Würger, there is no quick map fix and in many ways your question is quite a complex one to answer.  However, I will try:

Here is the list of mods you need to individually add if you wish to setup your own 'The Full Monty' (TFM) type install.  Are all these necessary you ask? - Yes they are, because with this expanded base the mission and campaign builders have a much larger tool box to work from. 

Quite apart from new maps there are also many new effects, sounds, objects, weather and even new mission functions in there.  It is much more than a few new maps.  Without TFM this campaign will simply not run properly.

Nevertheless, when loading Africa missions I get the message " 'Northern _Africa_Jir/load.ini' loading error" f. ex. No idea what went wrong...

Must be a problem with The Ace of Spades. The Desert Air Force works, no map problems...

Well my friend, this is a really simple one.  The mission is calling for a map that you don't have.  The  Northern_Africa_Jir_v2 Map should be installed with Monty-17.

Check your #DBW/MapMods/maps/all.ini

for this line:

Northern_Africa_Jir_v2 Northern_Africa_Jir_v2/load.ini

to confirm you are indeed fully Montied.
