I don't see how it's a shame tbh. We all know DBW is offline only, why ought DBW 1916 be any different?
Maybe some day we can figure out a way to set up a server?
Until then, saying that all this work is for "nought" as Benge said is an insult because I for one am extremely grateful for what is being made here, for free, by these aircraft enthusiasts.
Please mind what you say, because DBW 1916 is still in development, it is a community project, and if we start slinging shit then people may take offense and that could leave our beloved project dead in the water.

 :)I can wait  ;D Plenty of fun with the planes we have now. And plenty of good campaigns thanks to SAS Monty27 my good friend from down under. I tell Ya this old Texan is enjoying 1916 to the Max,Thanks to all the guys that have made this possible. Not looking forward to seeing that Dr1 on my six.

Having had the honor of flying this exciting new aircraft, I can say that the elevator and rudder responses are truly admirable...

first off no one was slinging crap...just stating the obvious...as much fun as DBW 1916 is in the offline...it could be so much more so if you could play it with other "real" players....I have played with these planes in online, we even had a full scale online campaign with them....too bad no body hehre except for a comrade of Gunny even bothered to attempt it, it was a real hoot.

In my books, saying that someone's efforts are for "naught" is slinging crap. ;)
But I get where you're coming from and I agree; online would be awesome. However, just because we don't yet have an online portion doesn't mean our efforts are wasted.
