USS Nimitz is best installed in B.A.T. but not everyone has it - so I'll try to sort out installations out for other IL-2 versions.

I'll start with 4.12.2m.

I've had trouble, on and off, with this and will test again but - in the meantime - here are the settings given by Seb after my request (many thanks) -

Thanks for the links Gerax; I intend to check these settings out for myself then edit them into the first post where they'll be seen straightaway. I'll also put them in an updated read me.txt. I also need to check out CUP and other settings when I can - my Windows 10 HDD has failed and I have some fixing to do ...

Damien I think I mentioned lighting in the readme.txt file. It would be nice to have but I haven't the time for quite a few months. May I ask whether you - or anyone - can honestly say that they can consistently trap on a moving carrier, in daylight, in cockpit (especially an F-4) and really need night landings? I mean, a dozen good traps, no bolsters?
