All those WW1 airplanes have a very original design to them. I like this one too.

Indeed the newest addition is a great looker, really special and fragile looking.

Here are a few more original designs from the Great War. I don't think these were produced in any quantities, but they are quite striking in design, especially the SPAD SA.3 with its split fuselage design with the prop between parts. What an idea to come up. And the Hansa-Brandenburg model with an unusual strut configuration.

Thanks, vpmedia. You definitely use the magneto settings to get the most out of this plane. However, I think they had some kind of a throttle. Something like a 3,6,9 arrangement for allowing power to some, or all of the cylinders.

I think I already seen some 3-D models of some of these airplanes in the IL-2 airplane-factory.
I hope to see them fly in the skies one day.
But at this present moment , we have already a great collection of airplanes to make any
WW1 fan dreams come true. These planes ROCK!

Hi, Max. If I remember rightly, the Spad 3 was in RB3D, along with the Star strutter.

cheers

Hi,
Will there be major changes for the current DBW1916 Somme maps in the future, like more airfields or similar? I ask, because of creating the road traffic for a possible DCG campaign!

Good news, having a DCG campaign for DBW-1916 would be most welcomed!
No changes planned for the maps, I consider them final versions and finished.
If you find any bug (airfield, road connections, texture) during making of the campaign I can help to fix it.

Cheers

Be.2c with its own slot got its new textures from Murdoc, I'd put it in a patch together with the new Sopwith Snipe but theres a problem left to solve: the pilots gun cannot be fired.

Hi, vpmedia. The pilot's gun works for me. I even managed to put some rounds into an Eindecker, head on. I also put some rounds in the general direction of some German infantry.

cheers

is this the standalone Be.2c or the previous 1 1/2 Strutter slot replacement?
