When we lost the previous forum we lost a lot of the modeling stuff. I had two of my threads saved and this is fortunately one. After relinking all the pix, I would like to put it back out there. We dont have a modeling section anymore, but, since it is my other hobby, the lounge is just going to have to deal with it I suppose! ;D

Hope it can inspire other modelers to also share their stuff.

Hello CirX,

Congratulations! That is one fine model! Like many others here, I used to build them, too, a long time ago. Thus, I really appreciate this gorgeous detailing. Now, about the umbrella. Could we please get this as a mod in IL-2?  ;)

Regards,

FW

Method on waving camouflage paint sure floored me. That's very easy as not need use cut out paper or tape.   Will it show in fine scale model magazine however in that website much better than limited pages sections!  Do you have your own website or other website that we can visit your other model planes? Thank you.

I used to develop techniques for the reviewers and museum builders overseas, and for many magazine contributors, so it surely would have ended up there. I alsop did a bit of tool developing in the past. There is a little bit of my shit in every hobby shop in the world by now lol...not that I get any moeny for it anymore....it is firstly a hobby for me.
