Got it and also your wonderful translation of the DGen manual....I'm starting to sudy it and I plan to build a campaign by myself in the next few days...I'm only deciding 'when' and 'where' it'll be placed!

I've never really read into what DGen (and NGen for that matter) really do.  Is there a link that explains what DGen is and what it does, how it does it etc?

Can anyone tell me if there is an English translation to the manual and campaign briefings from Russian. I played the DGen3.0 version a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Motorhead in particular was very helpful in setting it up and debugging some of the missions. We waited for Azura to translate and thanks to him and his colleague we have another version of Il2 1946 to enjoy if it is in English as well.

I note on the heading at Aviaskins it says DGen3.01 is for Il2 4.14.1 yet the downloads only mention 4.13.1. Which is correct?
Do the campaigns listed at Aviaskins all work with 4.13.1. If so that is brilliant as that version lacks content at present.

DGen is the dynamic campaign engine of the game, check the game manual for details.
DGenMod is a modified version for modded games, so you can use the new maps and planes that are not in default IL-2 1946.

Asura has been working on DGenMod over 10 years, and there are many new features that has been added over the years.

The DGenMod manual is most useful for campaign builders, for the player it's used in the same way as the default DGen, there is a English manual included in the latest version posted here:

DGen Pack 3.01 is for game version v.4.14.1, but the campaigns can work in other game versions depending if anything has been changed between game versions to planes and other stuff that are included in a particular campaign.

DGen Pack is a major mod pack for 4.14.1.

BAT is a major mod pack for 4.12.2.

The golden rule is: Use only one major mod pack at the time, and never mix them!
