if you have not installed any additional mods yourself, you are good to go to install waw 9 and 10 according to the instructions monty provided. they do not replace parts 1-8, they ADD to them. be sure to follow the instructions (like to disable all optional JSGME mods you might have activated first).
same goes to the updated map packs, you should have no problem with installing the new parts over your existing installation as long as you did not add other mods by yourself.
Dechiper, thanks for your quick answer but I'm a bit confused now. In instal notes of WAW 9 and 10 it says the following:
"
***********************************
A FRESH NEW DEFINITIVE #WAW FOLDER
***********************************
JSGME DISABLE ALL OPTIONS PREFIXED #CUP AND #WAW
Pre-Install - Rem (add a Minus) rename your current #WAW to -#WAW
To install - UnRAR/UnZIP direct to main Il2 directory, overwrite when prompted:
Your old -#WAW may be safely deleted at your convenience.
Your new #WAW is the ultimate up to date reference to this point.
Several specialist packages and upgrades to follow in the near future reference this folder in this form.
JSGME ENABLE REQUIRED OPTIONS PREFIXED #CUP AND #WAW (user preferences)
It is safe to add your options now and continue enjoying CUP World at War.
"
In other words there is a #WAW file in part 9 and 10, and it won't install itself in the old #WAW file (because of the - suxif), moreover it is instructed that the old #WAW file (now with -) can be deleted. So what is it, do I install in the old file or follow the instructions?
