4.08? That seems like it was back in the Stone Age. Been there and played it but I had to move on. Thanks for your time.

Thanks Whiskey_Sierra_972 for your help; I did not have HSFX7 files to look into it.

Oh my ! Do you have the path for these things; still necessary to make a mode.

Meanwhile I will look into the largest filelist I have...

WOW. It seems to be PACIFIC file as well !   That will be EZ.  But I cannot test it.

Not as easy as I thought: some mats refers to a different tga name. ( two of them ).
Got to get back to the ideas I had at the time. Hope I get this right.

OK here goes a blind shot in the dark:

HSFX7 test run:            -----Done----

I hope somebody can tell me if they work. Then I will do final link in main post.
A result screenshot would be even better, cause I suspect some of these pens may not have Barb wire/or fence on top,
so these ones don't need to be modded; scrap them; and I need to scrap them.

Only the objects with 'triple' in the name need to be fixed. The others do not have fencing on top. (See the screenshot)

I tested the 3 new 'triple' objects and they look good. (See the screenshot)

Thank you all for the help!

That these kinds of graphical glitches are still being propagated today tells us that the object creators are not observing carefully what's happening at changing view distance, and/or do not fully understand the workings of the mat file parameters.

I hope some kind of 'knowledge base' is being compiled somewhere...

This information is for Hubberranz (I believe I saw him state that he doesn't have HSFX) and anyone trying to install this mod into HSFX 7. The zip file has HSFX7 in the filename so this is another reason.

When you unzip the mod, this is the folder structure you will see:

BP_Earth_HSFX7Alveoles_base,matsV2/MAPMODS/3do/Buildings/Pacific/XXXX(edited object folders here)

In actuality, this is not the correct path for HSFX 7 (at least not in my install).

The correct path (again, in my install) is:

BP_Earth_HSFX7Alveoles_base,matsV2/Files/3do/Buildings/Pacific/XXXX(edited object folders here)

As you can see, the 'MAPMODS' folder has been renamed to 'Files'. So, all you need to do is rename the MAPMODS folder.

In actuality, I don't believe there is a MAPMODS folder anymore in HSFX 7.

I hope this information helps. If I am in error, please post here and correct me.

OK I'm back at it today, so I think I will provide both alternatives in same download.

New link V3 added in first post: now it contains both copies, choose one...  8)

HSFX install mods into FILES folder , the MAPMODS is the path to my unified objects and maps project development folder....this can be see as installation path from a less skilled user....

The path read from the game for the object is 3do/Buildings/Pacific/XXXX in both situation....if you like to keep track of what you install the mods , you shouldn't put it in the 2nd level folder like FILES and MAPMODS but into a 1st level folder like the old good MODS or#SAS in a dedicated folder like: "Blastpen_upgrade"....
