Now what happened to the Clowns of the first flight?
We've seen -bb-'s death already.
This was Ricky's fate: Coming back for a second rocket salvo at a merchant ship sitting in the harbor of Onagawa Bay, he got hit by flak and his engine was set on fire so he had to bail out over enemy territory. He's MIA since, probably the Japs knew what to do with his fresh blood.

On to gerula's fate.
After having successfully bombed the guard destroyer, G decided that the flak pissed him off too much to ignore, so he turned in for a suicidal flak attack:

Blaubär decided to watch the scene first, which isn't quite what an element wingman is supposed to do, but so be it:
