IIRC at least Jetwar 1.3 ships with it's own air.ini file, you might want to check the "#SAS\000_1956_Core_v13" folder closely.
Whatever it is, there has to be some air.ini file that differs from the one you've posted.

I've searched my entire HDD for another air.ini file and only came up with the one I posted, I guess my IL-2 really doesn't like this BF-109 pack.

I'm just going to roll back all of my mods to before I installed this mod.

Thanks for trying to help Storebror.

WiredrawnMurder, I checked your air.ini from "Reply #68" and found this (marked in red):

... missing: [AIR]

Bf-109E-4         air.BF_109E4 2                                g01   SUMMER

*              air.Placeholder
********************GERMANY              air.Placeholder
****************************************              air.Placeholder
*              air.Placeholder
air.ini
Bf-109B-1         air.BF_109B1 2                                g01   SUMMER
Bf-109B-2         air.BF_109B2 2                                g01   SUMMER
.....

It is mandatory to have this entry in the first line of the air.ini:
[AIR]

and the "air.ini" entry is wrong, such lines never should be copied into the air.ini!  ;)

Another advice: check for a correct "Line Feed" at the end of new lines in your air.ini.
this means: do not forget to hit the enter key when you added some lines
into the air.ini.  ;D

I corrected your air.ini you have posted above and put it here to download,
see the attachment. As I can't add *.ini files I had to rename it to air.ini.txt,
so please rename and try it, hope its OK now. Don't forget to make a copy
of your existing air.ini before doing this. :)

Another question:
I saw you have installed not only a few planes like L-159G, B-24D,
Mi-24V and J7W1 but also the JetEra planes.
Had you any problems there before installing the 109 pack?

Thanks for taking care of this Gerhard, well spotted.
I'm curious whether these air.ini entries really caused that crash. For some reason they still not match the log output, but I must admit that your suggestions make sense and might fix it.
Let's see what WiredrawnMurder's results are.

This is really great and I thank all the modders who made this possible!
I can't seem to get Muas' early Bf 109 cockpit to work with the Bf 109 B-1, the only way for me to get that plane to not explode is using the fix on page 5, but the fix disables the new cockpit.  :(
Has anyone figured out how to get both working?

HA HA! It worked! Thank you so much Gerax for spotting that I accidentally copied part of the instructions and put it in my air file!

I can't believe I missed that  :D

And thank you Storebror for your patience in trying to help me, you guys are AWESOME!  ;D

Also to answer your second question Gerax I've never had any issues with the 1956 mod, it works perfectly.

For some reason they still not match the log output, but I must admit that your suggestions make sense and might fix it.

I tried both wrong/missing entries:  :)

a missing [AIR] brings:
java.lang.RuntimeException: GUIQuick: file 'com/maddox/il2/objects/air.ini' is empty

a wrong line xxxx (in this case air.ini) in air.ini brings:
java.lang.RuntimeException: PlMisAir: class 'null' not found

Dear Anto!

Thank you! This is great! Almost perfect!

Everything seems now in place. The 3D models, the loadouts and of course, the performance!
Bf 109, the killer of the skies!!!!......in this package, why this plane is so lethal, is obviously demostrated...anyways...as an old 'flyer' of the Bf 109, I found (awful) some remarks at the end, so...

- where is the AHS mod?? I tried to apply the old one, but when it works on the stock versions, the others have ...hmmm....unfortunate side effects.

- I found a little bug in the loadouts, in the G-10 Erla and G-14/AS, where the photo (R5) option is selected, no camera comes out....

Now something else, I know that the lineup is so complete, that somebody can hardly ask for anything more. However, as an great fan of the 109, I would like to ask for an Early 109G-14/AS with the DB 605ASM engine (the current one seems to be a late AS, with an DM 605ASC engine). Essentially an G-6/AS with MW50 and identical to it apart from a revised FM, would not be so difficult to add to the lineup.

I‘ve found a small bug with all my Bf109s in DBW1.71....no matter which 109 I choose to fight with me,it gets "stuck" in the air and doesn't move any more only after I shot down it....maybe I should reinstall this pack?

Hello! According to some new requests (would like to call them wishes ;) ) for this pack, I would like to join you, mates, and ask some upgrade of existing T-1: rework the wing, make it folding and increase the wingspan, to make it as it was in project. Thanks :)
