Sorry if this question has been answered or insults in any direction:
Can there be a 4.12.2 compatible version of the "6DOF NormalMouse" mod, Mister Pablo?
That would so rock...my favourite cockpit mod.

Cheers

Thorsten

Thorsten,
the Visual MOD has all of that included (plus many other features). The one present in the ModAct 5.3 is the stable version.

If you don't like the other featurs, just disable them. Building separated versions of all those features is kind of imposible right now. It became like a pack of MODs that work assembled.

  Regards,
                         Pablo

Thank you Pablo!

Will try it again. The only reason I stopped with the visual mod is my arm and finger motoric powers went bad due to sickness issues and moving with hatswitch became considerably stressy.
Will try again, thanks for the info! The thing with the default TD cockpit zoom options in 4.12.x is that they never stick when going outside and back in the views..leaving the Mig-21s with big holes (backside).

Cheers

Did I miss it or has this issue been addressed:

A long time ago I think a few of us asked about getting the ability to lassoe a bunch of objects using something like Alt+Left Mouse button. In the conf.ini file it looks like this: Alt MouseLeft=select+.

We've had this since at least DBW and I really miss it here in v4.12 - any v4.12 and any ModAct. In conjunction with copy/paste one can make huge forests or plant lots of grass. One can make a revetment template and repeat it many times. This saves a ton of time.

After the last post above I went back into FMB and remembered another issue:

I only have horizontal lines of the grid in the map view of a map. When I zoom into ground detail I lose those lines except for short yellow ones on the left side of the screen when in more than 2km grid spacing. Once I get down to the 10m spacing of the grid I only have vertical lines.

Has anyone else had this issue and is there a cure?

I'm working on that. I think I have found all the causes of the issues.

Tomorrow I will post a Beta with the corrections.

I'm not sure if you're referring to this post -

or this one -

All the horizontal lines are now back and I thank you very, very much for that. That addresses the second post of mine but I still cannot lassoe the objects. Maybe I have the wrong syntax in the conf.ini. I'm using what's been around forever in "Alt MouseLeft=select+".

Can you let us know what the situation is on this please?

Does the 4.12.2 mission procombo work in HSFX7 for everybody.  For some reason, my game freezes if I install that wonderful mod, but it works fine on my SAS install and it worked fine in my 4.11/HSFX6 version.

Any clues?

I actually started over with a fresh version of 7.01 and it was the first mod I added. The game was fine. So now I am adding mods like those in the first version to see what the conflict is.  I even wonder if it was just the order in which I added them that causes the problem.  Anyway, there is a conflict with some mod, but I don't know what it is.  In the meantime I am enjoying my HSFX newer, smaller version with the MissionProCombo.

I have also noticed the same with the Engine Mod and SAS.  Starting over with a fresh version and adding the mods in the order from most important/fun to least seems to clear up conflicts.  Adding the engine mod to an already heavily modded game caused AI goofs, but then starting over with the Engine mod added first and others later has been good.

In both versions I have not completed the trial and error process of finding where the conflict begins, but I am also finding that I don't need every mod that comes along.

I am enjoying the game and all the mods even if I spend a lot of time rearranging it. Fortunately I have enough space for about 12 game versions, and I always leave a fresh one of each new version as a backup.

Long live IL-2!
