I have CTD with the PFM even though I installed the engine mod and JetWar 1.3 before installing the MiG.  The log file doesn't contain a single reference to the MiG-21 so I can't tell what's causing the problem.

Just like me it crashes when loading the mission at 30% right ?

I reinstalled Jetwar 1.3 and the bombs pack as well as The SAS Enginethingy 2.6. That solved it for me.

then you have something wrong, as it goes well beyond mach 1.
make sure your airbrakes and such are not activated.

thnx; i was, like, 10 000m too low; and with much stuff hanging....
can do mach 1,6 up there  :P

beautiful beast; i have fed it with some f4 s  yesterday.

Hey guys maybe you have had the same issue that I'm confronted with (sadly...) :(:
-the 21 flies just wondefully but once on the ground I am unable to taxi properly (even with diff breaking...) The nose wheel is turning but the beast follows so slowly (when diff brake applied too) it is simply impossible to taxi...

Maybe the issue has already been reported on other MiGs since it seems I have the problem with all of them...

Thanks for the help!

And again wonderful job on this bird!

1. Stop completely.
2. Press right or left brake only, depending on where you want to go.
3. Apply throttle.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Yep, it turns like shit when moving, but that's how it worked IRL AFAIK

I was also having the same CTD problem with the PFM model. I got the CTD at 30% when the aircraft was loading, same as the others.

I was able to solve this myself though I do not guarantee this will work for others: I am running DBW.

1. Download Jetwar 1.3 and Unzip.  Open #SAS folder and move the 000_1956 etc file to your #DBW folder.
2. Download the bomb repair Jetwar file, unzip and put relevant data in this file in the  right place in the 000_1956 folder now in the #DBW folder.
3. Going back to the downloaded Jetwar 1.3 file,  move the contents of the SAS_SFS folder (the two samt-jetwar files) into your main IL2 folder (not#DBW) so the files are positioned just above sasup-decal file.
4. Download the SAS Engine mod file, unzip and put the 4101 file in your #DBW folder.

Hopefully that should work. It did for me.

As I said I cannot guarantee it will work for others. If it does not at least you can just delete the added files and look for another solution.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Regards

Upkeep.
