Anyway, in 2008 there was an air combat simulation, actually a very Dissimilar air combat training between some US ANG F-15 Eagles and Hungarian Mi-24 helicopters. US pilots were here in Hungary for some foreign training, something like NATO training stuff, and the Eagle pilots were much surprised, when the slow and low flying Mi-24 were hiding in some valley, and scored several times "hits" on the Eagles, with the 12,7mm turret gun. Both operated by the weapon systems officer - who was actually a girl! - and with fixed in forward position operated by the pilot!

Help please!!  I have been trying to get the F100F to work and in the process I checked to see if my Yak 36 was still good to go and it wasn't.. so I checked the Mi-24 and Mi 8T at least they were running they are just pink now!!  I had this chopper running perfectly before with the skins and everything in my 4.10.1 DBW and I don't know what I did but it is pink!! This is with the mod-texture/resolution (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,33239.0.html) that is needed. In the JSGME I have activated:

1. High resolution textures DLL's Light
2. True color textures for Dark blue world
3.  High res True color Sample customs skins

Here is part of the log.lst where I saw that there was a problem at the bottom it's not the whole log, but I thought this was the part that was relevant and thank you guys for your time and help it's really appreciated.

There is an update coming along with Mi-8 update and will contain same features as infantry and combined AI slot plus:

With help of Eric's mind I've managed to implement a sort of a working FLIR. The general idea is that it will stay in the same spot where you pointed it, so you will be free to maneuver your helicopter. Of course the lock will be dropped once you reach angular limits or do some rapid stick move.

when it will be ready?

Got a new computer  :D

Seriously on the cpu that I had the problem, I don't know what was going on at first but the HD mod wouldn't work and I somehow had deleted the mod 24 bit skins in my DBW folder. Once I got a copy of the 24 bit in my DBW folder, activated the HD mods in my JSGME....VIOLA!!

But I did get a new computer right after figuring what happened with my other cpu, that I've been wanting for a while, now IL-2 is just a totally different experience especially with the Water 4 mod and TFM.
