I can not get this to load with DBW, tried the original and the new beta version.

The map shows up in the list, but when i try and load it i get a blue screen with the following message at the bottom.

World.Land().LoadMap()error.Java.lang.RuntimeException:Landscape'RLV_Night/load.ini'loading error.

anyone please have any suggestions, has to what this means and a possible workaround?

Did you put the "Handorf.tga" into the Tex/land/summer/RLV folder?

Without this tga, you'll get a map error.

Yeah, i followed the readme, copied the folder

which has the Handorf TGA in the correct place.

i have been through the installation a few times, to make sure i have it right. I'm stumped, if you have got it working in DBW it must be something particular to my installation.

Cheers Boomer for the advice, i have copied all the files as you mentioned above, i did not know about the shift/tab to get the error report, so i will try that when i get home from work and see what is missing.

This is the first map i have tried to add under DBW so i hope i am on the right track, i have however loaded quite a few maps under my old 4.09m installation, so i am not completley new to the process.

Just to be clear i treat the #DBW folder as the 'mod' folder in previous installations? Altough as the map appears in my map list it must be in the correct place.

This is really weird,

I have just done a complete new install of DBW, carried out the instructions in the readme to the letter, and i am still getting the same error, really stumped now as to what it can be.

Could someone who has this working please post their mapmods folder, so i can try with a confirmed working folder.

Right also tried it under UP3.0 and still will not load.

installed agraciers Biscay map to UP3.0 and DBW no problems working in both. What is it with this map? Does any one have a ful_tex folder to try please?

Your game should look like this

IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/#DBW/MapMods/maps/_Tex/land/summer/RLV/Handorf.tga

If you follow the path through the game, and you end with Handorf.tga, your map should load without error. Handorf.tga is the only new thing in this map.

Thanks for your help, my install is exactly as you have above, but still it will not load

part of the error message says 'water map will not load' i seem to have textures missing but i cannot see how, i have a clean install of 4.101 followed by UP3.0 and then DBW, have tried to install under UP3.0 and DBW using switcher still can not get it to load.

pissing me off now,thanks for your help

'water map will not load'

Sounds like you need some "expert" help.   (that's not me)

I've never seen that error message.

could you PM me a screenshot of your FMB with shift/tab active?
Also, when loading the map in FMB, do you actually see the map or is it just a blank screen?

No clue what the problem might be but am sure we will sort it out here.
