There is a individual mod for certain tanks like BT-5, BT-5 Radio, BT-7, BT-7 Radio and BT-7A that appear in 4.13.3. version of base game, but I can't seem to make it work, and somehow I did manage to change BT-7 model to that from this mod, but nothing else. What am I doing wrong? I copy-pasted the files to WAW3 and BATMODS and activated it in JGSME, but it still doesn't works.

1. Does WAW3 work normally?

2. Is the BT family listed in the Full Mission Builder - View - Object - Armor or Vehicle section ?

3. Can you see the BT family when you click on it with your mouse ?

4. Or does the gray background appear ?

5. If you only see the gray background, press Shift+Tab in that state.

6. You will receive error messages (if you can't see them well, use your mouse to move the background window to the right).

7. Try to fix the error messages with the help of the high level modders on the here-forum.

WAW3 works fine. The tanks aren't present in the Full Mission Builder at all, only in files.

It appears that the installation has not been done properly.

Clean up what you installed with JGSME and install it on WAW3 by direct input.

And make sure to back up (copy) the STD folder before installation.

Because 70% CTD can happen.

Direct Input to STD folder :

 - manually input to ...com/maddox/il2/objects/....
                               !18n/...

Control_technics seems to be in 4.2.2, so I'm not sure about that because I'm using on 4.1.

I told you the basics.

Now it's up to you to make it work well.

Thank you.

PS : The file to be placed on WAW3 must be in this format... ''Vehicles_Tanks_BT_Family_4133/3do/tanks/bt-5...''

Have you tried my armour/vehicle upgrade pack? It has most, if not all, the BT family in it (and lots more).

No one reported problems with the installation via jgsme.

Correction: I just checked and I only included the BT5 (sorry).

Yeah. That BT-5 was some weird prototype of BT-7 actually. I tried to include BT-5s,7s and BT-7A from 4.13.3. version of the game. There were also BT-2 and T-26 1931, but can't find them. If you could make a small armor pack, it would be nice of you.

After long tinkering and wondering, I finally remembered that I need to simply copy paste those add files into respective folders. Silly me. After some precise code writing, now it finally happened that 70% CTD that won't complete the launch of the game. I already had a back up STD. Now what is the best course of action? Is there any way to save changes?

Move the folder to the front position.

If you rename the folder and put the '!' symbol, it will be located in the front position.

Even though you did that If it doesn't work, you can just hope that users who are already using this file in 4.2.2 will come forward to help.

Excuse me for my ignorance, but I'm not sure I'm following on the "Move it to the front" part. Could you elaborate further? And what folder exactly?

If it's about STD folder, it's still under that name. It stands above the back up copy of it in WAW3 folder.
