Hi Gents

A simple Question

Its possible to get a groundplate to hight above the surface /ground
because i need a watertexure above the ground to fill the Cooling Tower from WxTech with water

Hi Gerald

Yes you can, perhaps you could take an existing runway plate (there are round ones) and give it a new texture.
You then raise the plate in it's static entry.

Why not simply add to the mesh of the object, making a water surface and supplying for it a partially transparent texture having a high specularity?

Or is there some property of a plate which is desired to realize, and which the usual modeling approach cannot supply?

Thx for ur Reply

my concerne is the hight to get a waterbasin in my Reffinery . I post a view images > i have the cooling Tower ( its ur fantasic work  )  cut in alpha channel to have a concret basin

Maybe can ur Explain what ur mean ,to get a good water Texture with  transparent texture having a high specularity

And by the way

the view through the concrete is fixed > i forget the texture for inside

EDIT:

Okay done the simplest idiots method, what height would the water level be?
Pictured here is 20 metres.
If I know the height I'll know the diameter needed and erase what's not required.
Shadows will be removed.

EDIT 2:

Screenshot 2, of course you can use your own water texture.

looks gorgeous the level could be 2 different waterhight maybe three quarters high and half high in my atomCoolingtower
but i didt n know how much is the efforts
