View Object?
« on: September 04, 2023, 01:42:47 AM »

In the one installation I have, I did set up the mods to be viewable under view objects, but I forgot what exactly I did to do this.  I do not need the text, but use the viewing part to at least see the item.  I am certain there is a file that needs to be modified, which one is it?  Thanks.

for the mod planes to appear in view objects just make sure that you don't have the NOINFO entry in the air.ini

I would have thought so at first, but this is not the case.  The NOINFO is probably for the text.  What I have below is what is used in the installation that displays both of the mod planes under view object.  I copied the same air.ini file over to the new installation along with the other required files and the planes below do not show up.

Code: [Select]
MosquitoFBMkVICC  air.MOSQUITO6CC 1                     NOINFO  gb01  SUMMER
MosquitoFBMkXVIII air.MOSQUITOtsts 1                    NOINFO  gb01  SUMMER

Depending on the modpack or modact being used, some of them ignore the "NOINFO" parameter and show the object nevertheless.
However, default behaviour is that NOINFO causes the object not to be listed. Frankiek is perfectly right.
