I use Il 2 1946 with vp mod and have the problem that in missions the escape key doenst work, when i press it, nothing happens, help pls

You should verify if you have the appropriate line in the conf.ini :
[HotKey gui]
Escape=activate

yes i saw it on another topic, it is activated, problem still exists

I also use track ir 5, dont know ive that could be a problem

In this case, check whether the TrackIR program does not disable certain keys for safety reasons.

my keys work outside of IL 2, no problems with keyboard, i have seen an older Topic, maybe its usefull that i use the gog version of IL 2 1946, also patch 4.12.2

edit.: also, all keys function at il 2 1946, except esc key
