Install "BAT 4.2.2" in "BAT4.2.1".
However, it ends at 70%.
I've tried installing several times, but to no avail.
Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong?

Try a new download of the files.
On my side it worked like a charm.

I redid everything from the original disc.
I did it while checking after installing.
I was very happy when "BAT 4.2.2" moved.
When I checked the ship, "Atago" was camouflaged, so I put all the "ShipAsheIJN" folders in "#WAW3".
Then I ended up with 70%.
My father was on board the same type ship "Chokai" of "Atago", so I wanted to make "Gray Atago" appear, although there are some differences in the details.
I was worried, but I tried installing only "3do" → "Ships" → "Atago" in the "ShipAsheIJN" folder.
"BAT 4.2.2" started smoothly.
After that, "Quick Combat" did not work in check
Searched for "Data file corrupt" in SAS and "Reset" got it working.

java class file conflict. You found the solution. The log can tell you this too.
You could even reduce it further and only install the .tga graphic files

The fewer files the program checks, the better.
I tested "G4M1_11" today.
It is now possible to descend to about 30m.
