Wildcats -- Martlets US/GB Revision... 2023 v.1.6.6
« on: October 30, 2021, 03:59:50 PM »

Wildcats -- Martlets US/GB Re-Revision... 2021

strictly for BAT 4.2 Patch 02!!!

This is not my Mod, is entirely based on 1C/Maddox, Barneseys, Vasyas, Veltros, SAS~CirXs, StefanSGs and Eperviers work
of former known mods.

In case of Barnesey's Mod, this is a version for BAT only, as his former Mod conflicts with latest Updates
and was rendered useless. Recollecting, fixing to fit BAT I did here.
Not for any other Mod Base Game.

Flattening out the major Variants in US and British Service, we have historical outfits here.
Beautifull Propellers and even a Superwildcat FM-2 in it's two historic Variations with a Killer FM finally.
A straight to go all-in-one Upgrade, lots of Goodies...

Thanks to all the Modders who contributed, ancient, old, recent Building, props to MissionBug for helping me on
custom Propellers here... You Guys are awesome

Required Mods:

Okay, found out the new Zeppelin/Blimp Wildcats using up most Slots, so that spares me from doing
already BAT inc stuff, but do a complete Familly. I don't wanna mess up that stuff, if they
were own Slots with own 3-D, I could have treated the non Blimp Cats, but this way,
making it independant is the only way to success.

The only already in BAT included Slots are Mk.I and Mk.II, the existing Mk.IV will be used up,
the rest is fresh.

Carrier and function Trials running, my makeshift Propeller/Cowlflaps Mk.II/Mk.III working as it
should. Now I can move the Textures to a new Final Template.

Cods are ready, awaiting Loadouts expansion. The Mod is tightly packed, freed from
any dependancy, requirements, file or class trap.

The new FM-1 got the ASV Wildcats bright cuffed Curtiss,
an Asset I found myself nice to have.

Weekend Gentlemen, enjoy your Days
Cheers

Thanks for the heads up, atm. I can't offer a closed Beta, have lil spare time. Hence I tinker
in that as much as I can. This will be another open Beta, Hurries out, this will be shifted even before Spitfires.
I just need 3 cods for IV (easy), VI (easy) and the most tackling of the V, which you can see above again,
having a the FAA Carrier, this time 250lb in a unusual position.
The Mark V cod is Todays goal.

Another twinkee Asset will be a experiment, I'll try to add the FM Seafire Strut to the Wildcats Familly as well,
to aid a bit on the visual Upgrades, would be a shame not to have. Must get that Rod.

FMs giving me headaches at the V and VI, some are fancy Superchargers, 2 stage two Speed???, have no clue whats that.
At Mk.III we don't necessarilly need new FM, the Mk.I siting well, as ex French Mk.I fits.

Good Evening Gents

Tadaaaaahhhh, Mk.III , uffff,  :P

Cockpits are using up BAT stuff, but WxTech's Wildcat Fix works well too...

The tricky Mixed Cowl, check, Template, check...
All cods coded, check, FMs from Vasya, re-edited,
check. I use up his US Type FMs as I have individual slots for them, Martlets I-IV have Martlet FMs. Although I never tested them myself, so right in time.
V and VI were literally US counterparts, FM-1 and FM-2.

Next step, Template Mk.I and final Loadout tinkering.
Stay tuned, cheerio

Cool, sounds really Great, Thanks for The Cockpit work on US Wildcats, awesome,
just recently tried and works very good as you see.

Currently switched to Mk.I external tuning.
Got them new corrected proper Barrels. Now it really
looks up how it should. No F4F-3 mesh with lil needle pins.

To unpuzzle the Secret, there is no Mk.I source Picture, AL257 is a fucked up Picture from a Reel, blurry and showing Sides,
no detail if Inner or Center Gun is used visible. If someone can, it's guesswork then.
but as we know 2 Batches of Mk.I were diverted as they were into Mk.III. Remaining their Equipment.
Above you see such a Divert-Batch Mk.III, formerly known Mk.I.
A Mk.III with that Hamilton is such a divert Mk.I. Up to 3 ex French divert existed.

Another ex French Batch has seen Upgrades to Curtiss cuffed, early stepped Prop and Guns refitting inner and center Positions.
That was literally the same used up in the Greek Batch. This upgraded Divert is our Mk.III.
So don't get confused.

Caught a Migraine Today, our Block gets new Paintjobs inside,
Ventilation system Broke, and Aerosols and Thinner smellies here.
Must take up Mk.I Template conversion Tomorrow.

Correction, AL257 a real Mk.I from designation showing above same Layout.

real FM-2/Mk.VI Hardpoints

small Texture Glitches will remain, like the Prop support rod.
At Propellers we still need one Type that for FM-2 Early, basicly
the same Propeller of the Late, but without Dome.

Still trying to fiddle that up.

I am scratching my poor little head. The staccato bursts of verbiage are more confusing than clarifying. Is it due to a miserable translation?
