TGA v4.1.1 Crash at 70%
« on: January 22, 2021, 09:04:52 PM »

TGA3 in BAT v 4.1.1 was running fine yesterday, then today it crashed at 70% with the following errors shown in the loglst.  The last thing I did was add in the Electras and the Junior Electra. I removed their folders and files and their .ini to troubleshoot, but I am still getting the same error message. WAW3, DOF3 and JTW3 run without any problems. Can  anyone direct me to a solution? Thanks.

the problem is ini related with 70%. You did not clean up properly (or maybe too well?)

You do have clean backups from before the modding attempt, do you?

Mechanic, the solution most likely is this

never heard of a last.quick causing a 70% CTD though
70% CTD is usually quite specific for an ini file issue.

Thank you gentlemen for pointing me in the right direction. It was indeed an .ini related clean-up problem: two "SUMMER" words on one .ini line  :-[

That's the thing with those .inis. One tiny mistake and you've had it. :o   Therefore always backup your STD folder of the module where you added stuff before you put sth. new in - if it doesn't work you can always switch back and try again. If it works take the latest STD folder as new backup then and so on. :)
