'reset' Configuration File
« on: January 18, 2021, 03:29:33 PM »

I have made a few edits to my 'configuration' file (config.ini) in BAT 4.0 (Red Core), however I seem to have made a mistake somewhere, because I have had some issues with the game play. This is also why the mouse was not working properly (mentioned in an earlier post).

However, I did not take a backup of the file before editing it and re-installing Red Core from the installer did not work either, since I still had the same problem strait afterwards.

Is there a way to re-set the config.ini at all?
If not, can someone possibly paste the draft text of a config.ini at 1080 x 720p?

Sorry about posting this. I feel a complete fool,  :(

BAT installs do not modify config.ini, which is why you are still having problems. A detailed guide which will enable you to check and reset everything can be found here:

You can borrow copies of good conf.ini from the Red Core topic: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,65026.0.html
