Access to IL2 '46 stock version main menu

Hi to all;

          First off I'm planning to make a background for the main menu(below) for the stock versions 413 and 414 but when I look for the right path to tinker I get no results. I have not really done this because its embedded deep in the game's file(?). This is kinda short question and my much appreciated gratitude for an experienced modder/expert/or whatever.. who can give me enlightenment on this concern,

It's the same path and files like it was in 4.12.2, no changes.
It's all in the "GUI" folder:
Definition files are background[<no>][_<locale>].mat files, tga files are being referred to from there.
Stock tga's are [wide_][gui_]background[<no>/<_locale>].tga
