I thought I should share this here. Gives a nice feel for your morning patrols.  :)

Normal:

Using Gapa, details below if you wish to use it.

Linked:
Gamma: 0.60
Brightness: 14%
Contrast: 1.72

Red:
Gamma: 0.60
Brightness: 14%
Contrast: 1.72

Green:
Gamma: 0.50
Brightness: 13%
Contrast: 1.18

Blue:
Gamma: 0.50
Brightness: 12%
Contrast: 1.18

It doesn't look right in daylight, the colours aren't right for the ground.  :P
Test it out on this image:


I recommend only for Pacific in the morning at about 5:00 to 7:00 in-game. As in first post. :)

Was going to create visual changes for night flying, but remembered there is a mod for darker skies and ground, so, no need.  ;)

I'm currently using UP2.01 (UltraPack). Has a lot of excellent mods. You should DL it. ;)

Hi gents, as I said before, complete noob here. I have a question: I am searching for a modified sky version, something with brighter blue colors at bright daytimes in the Pacific and Indian Ocean regions.

Did anyone do this yet for IL-2? I know how to do it in FF5.5 and did it there, but unfortunately don't know how to in this sim.. All I know is that sky mods are a pita in ANY sim..:D
