Following a request for a template I have uploaded my template for the Do-17 that I put together
some time ago to make some skins for the Dorniers used in Finland.

The template was constructed using a skin made by artists from Axis and Allies and the mechanical layers from
that skin were retained with my lines, rivets and schemes built on the existing skin to produce a set of summer
and winter schemes for Finland that were posted at M4T.

Luftwaffe camouflage pattern was retained when the aircraft were delivered with Finnish insignia applied instead
of the German crosses, I also added the late war Finnish scheme that replaced the early one as aircraft
were rotated through maintenance facilities after some years in service.

At the time I made these I also put together a few hack schemes from requests, however, I have removed those
to leave what were actual camouflage schemes, the early one should enable you to create Luftwaffe schemes
but you will need to add insignia and codes.

Hello guys, I thought I had posted this along with the skins it was made to produce way back, however, looks like I kept this at home but you have it now, better late than never. 

There should be enough there in the way of lines, rivets and the early Luftwaffe scheme to make something good enough for your needs even though it is not the finest template around, adding your own individuality to things should help you get close to what you want.

Please be aware that the Do-17 mod was a combination of parts so there are some issues with mapping to contend with, try to stick close to what you see in other skins made by those guys at Allied and Axis for this aircraft and you should be okay.

The Do-215 template will remain in the download for that aircraft so go there if you want to do skins with those different engines as it is already mapped accordingly.
