The Illustrious reskin may have been an excellent placeholder, but nothing beats a proper model! Glad to see her being built, and patiently looking forward to her release.

If the model is to be authentic then I should stop work at this point and maybe just add some camoflage nets.

   No, no no camouflage nets please! Every Italian ship that imports from WoW is a godsend to me!

Takeoff is working but bit tricky landing back on board since no RA aircraft have been modelled with hooks. Any volunteers to add one to the Re2001 naval version?

Still to add deck shadows and enable guns. Apart from those the import is complete.
