Here are the entries for the Fuso's sister ship:
Code: [Select]
chief.ini 1:
 Yamashiro           ships.ShipAsheIJN$Fuso        2 icons/shipDestroyer.mat

chief.ini 2:
[Ships.Yamashiro]
 com.maddox.il2.objects.ships.ShipAsheIJN$Fuso

technics_ru.properties:
Yamashiro           IJN Yamashiro BB

Note,
1)This was done and tested in a 409modact

2)If a stationary entry is created for the new ship, the stationary for the parent ship that is
being aliased from will have the same name as the the new "edit mod ship". So, no stationary
for the "new" ship.

Bwf.

P.S.
Ashe, Thanks for the tip,
In ships.ini if you change the line //IsAirport      1  to IsAirport      1
then you can have a close up look using the   Shift F2  view.  Normally only used for carrier models.

A new set of files has been linked in the first post. Just extract and overwrite the ShipAsheIJN folder. No changes to the text files at present.

This completes the import of the full detail, so please comment again to say if it runs ok, or not.
Also modified the shading to the AA guns on the starboard side and applied some smoothing to the bow, stern and parts of the superstructure.
Only collision boxes are in the hull at present.

The level of detail is now ridiculous, but nice if you like that kind of thing. :)

At Surigao Strait the destroyer escorts included the Fubuki class which as far as I know we do not yet have in the game. 24 were built.

The original model is from World of Warships, correct? Great addition nonetheless

As I have already said a couple of times in this thread, I've not created the model. My work is limited to importing it into IL2.

:) :)Thank's my friend. ! This is truly a marvel of detail and a joy for the eyes! Obviously on the web there are already a large amount of beautiful models that can be imported into Il2! Maybe someone does not realize the difficulties involved in the import and adaptation work ... but certainly adding these wonders to our game is a joy for everyone! Thanks Asheshouse for all that you have given us in these years and please continue to amuse us with your magic!

Thank you, asheshouse.  Stunning model.

Must be quite an experience in those pagoda masts in high sea, let alone in battle.

Cheers,
