For anyone who is interested in Spitfires Mr. Edgar Brooks lived and breathed this plane and getting the right info.

On this page there is a pdf collection of his posts from all over the web.  It may or may not help you, but I think sharing knowledge is a good thing.

RIP MR. Brooks.  You are missed.

this will come in handy one day I am sure !  8)

I have collected alot of information about WW1 fighters from Dan_San_Abbott who knew much more
about them than most folks. His information was also most valuable to me.
His posts can still be read at the www.theaerodrome.com/forum

I think Dan San Abott is no longer with us.
