Zflyer48's Hanger-CW-22
« on: April 09, 2018, 01:29:19 PM »

I have added a new plane to my work load. Extracted the meshes from CW-21, modified for the greenhouse and gears, and borrowed classfiles and FM to
get it to load.
I am making a request for classfiles and FM for the CW-21. Also, original modders names to give credit in readme file. If available, a template.
Not much to ask for.

Looks superb Mike. 8)

As for classes you could just rename the dumped classes for the type by adding a 'T' suffix to them to create this version and just use the existing FM.

Extract the cockpit and do the same, you can also create a second cockpit by positioning it further back and renaming.

Just my thoughts, hope it helps. :D

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

What an excellent, and arcane choice.  Of course, I am a NEI freak, but that's beside the point.  Good Luck.

Cheers and prost

A little glass work and gears. Mapping is being a little troublesome without a template.

Working on rear turret. Have to change three blade prop to two blade prop. Then finish with shadows.

Coming along nicely Mike. 8)

Sorry to say I thought it was a trainer when I first looked at it did not realize the back seat was for a gunner. :-[

Anyway, should be a great addition to the game. ;)

A little info from wikipedia

"The main customer for the Wright R-975 Whirlwind radial engine-powered aircraft was the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force and 36 were exported. The aircraft had to be delivered to the Dutch in Australia due to the advancing Japanese forces. A developed version, the CW-22B was sold to Turkey (50) and the Netherlands East Indies (25) and in small numbers in South America. Some of the Dutch aircraft were captured and operated by the Japanese air force. The CW-22 and CW-22B were armed with two machine guns, one fixed."

I'm glad to see this plane in the "workshop", I must honestly say that I read about CW-22 some time ago, but I didn't expect to see it so quickly in our game.

The SNC_1 trainer is just about complete. A few mapping issues to sort out.
Navy Pilots can start basic flight training before advance training and ship landings.
CW-22 to follow.
