Very long reply ...
This "restore point" is mentioned in some of the install instructions...
(see the bold blue links below after "ad 2"):
RESTORE POINT INSTALL TYPE:
1) JSGME: DISABLE everything prefixed #XXX (DOF, WAW etc.)
2) In your Main Il2 directory rem out (rename with a -) your current #XXX to -#XXX.
3) UnZIP/UnRAR 'C.U.P.- Module YY - XXX direct to your Il2 Main Directory and allow overwrite.
4) ENABLE JSGME Options to taste.
5) Delete old -#XXX at your convenience.
6) Check that you are up to date with the SAS Modular Map Expansion - SASMME PART-12
7) Install SASMME PART-12 - Easy way, just drop it all in...
each bold and italic text above is important and mandatory !!
So:
1) Have you disabled the mods in your JSGME before installing the new stuff?
2) Have you disabled the module folder #XXX or have you used the "just overwrite" method?
3) Have you upgraded the maps with MME-pt12?
No? what to do now?
ad 1: depends on wich jsgme mod, but: in generally I would decide to do
a complete reinstall instead of trying to fix this.
ad 2: not so hard to repair, just do this (but when not sure, do a reinstall
and read the instructions by the letter!):
when you get this maneuver error in WAW rem out the #WAW folder in CUPs main directory,
then open the "C.U.P.- Module 03 - World At War Pt12.rar" file (find it
here),
(this files includes the latest WAW restore point) and highlight (click on it)
only the "#WAW" folder within!
Then unzip only this #WAW folder into your CUPs main directory.
Install "C.U.P.- Module 03 - World At War Pt12B" with overwriting then, done.
In JTW same procedure, but the restore point is in file C.U.P.- Module 04 - The Jet Age Pt06
here,
Pt06B, Pt07, Pt08 overwrites then.
In DOF restore point is in file C.U.P.- Module 02 - Dawn of Flight Pt06
here,
part07 overwrites then.
TGA doesn't have any restore points until yet.
ad 3: just install MME pt12. Done.
found another thread, maybe ashton1972 expressed better whats wrong
and how to solve it
here.
Disable all jsgme mods and delete existing #WAW folder. Extract WAW #12 to Il2. WAW #12 is a COMPLETE AND NEW replacement for existing #WAW folder. It looks like you still have the old Engine Mod folder that causes problems with carrier take-offs. 25.7MB is the size for Engine MOD in #WAW from WAW#11.
