The key feature of GMT is that it's always the same timezone, no DST shifting, nothing.
Your timezone is MSK (Moscow Standard Time) which is GMT +3 with no DST (at least not this year ).

For comparison, my timezone currently is CEST (Central European Summer Time) which is GMT +2, but that's just since last sunday, before it was CET (Central European Time) which was GMT +1.
The shift happened because my timezone has DST while GMT hasn't.
