Sometimes in the summer we get something that looks similar to that here in Atlantis   England peeking out behind the rain clouds, i think that's called the sun as well but nobody's made a positive I.D on it in quite a while now.

Almost the same here.
although the sun does come above the horizon, and that for quite a few hours per day, all i see is Grey. Fog, Low hanging cloud, all sorts of drizzle and Rain, and the occasional bit of Blue sky, - but the sun, by then, is so low that i dont see it by itself.

and when the sky is very clear - its a black sky with stars in it, and around  0°C - no snow, no ice.
6 months of Fall with its foul, wet weather.
Oh how i wish for either sun or snow  -  to light up the mood.
