CLOD resolution setting

Hi
would appreciate a bit of info regarding resolution setup in this sim.I do no seem to be able to run in full screen .I have a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 and I can run full screen with this resolution in game .However that puts quiet a strain on my video cards.So I want to run full screen in 1920 x 1080.When I do this the display will not fill the screen. So my only option is to select Psuedo. This works and I was wondering why full screen does not .Is Psuedo inferior to full screen :D ,not sure. But I can run IL2 DBW okay with the above setup .I do not want to have to alter my native screen resolution just to play this Sim.
