I think it would be done in the DBW extension for 1946-56 as it is letadlama from the First World War, this would avoid problems of novímy aircraft. My top is where do DBW 1956 would be a new aircraft from jets and the postwar era has not been used in the thirties and the Second World War

at the moment i use "//" in my air ini to remove jets, helicopters and vehiecles.

creating an independent "1956" would save some java

you mean: leave the weapons and all related stuff, but as long as the plane that uses them is not there, the files are not red...
maybe that would work.
