Unfortunately the 4.09 file is only a 13.0 kB file of the "FM_409", and not the complete mod. (I do have the Diff_fm mod installed, and air.ini lines included properly...)

Try this:

install the 4.10 files, but then replace whatever FM_410 file you find in that folder (or of a similar name ) with the 13.0 kb FM_409 file you downloaded ... it is probably the fm for 4.09 ... but be sure to remove the FM_410 file ....

yep, tried that, and here's the error message: "Mission Loading Failed: weapon set 'default' not registered in air.P_24A"

Well, I'm out of ideas after this ... sorry.

But just as an option, why not try a second install alongside your 4.09? Try out DBW for instance ... you can keep 4.09 as it is and still have another one, or two or even 10 other installs working as well ... I know the feeling of not wanting to upgrade to something newer, but with Il-2 you can have all the slices of cake at the same time ...

Hi there.

I have a small question. Why P-24 in the game is faster than the Boeing P-26 Peashooter? Judging by the to speed limits PZL both machines should be about 60 km / h an hour faster?

 sealevel/altitiude
A/B 325/410 km/h
E 325/408 km/h
F/G 340/430 km/h

In game performances from Il2 Compare



A little difference +/-5 km/h, not bad as for a game i think.

Not sure about others mod aircrafts FMs,maybe they need to be check.
