I used the SAS Mod Act exe. that come with the Mod package.

Hello!

I just tried the version 1gb.exe and I must say ..WoW!....Thanks a lot!

Now I have a desktop launch the game from 15-17 sec to 5-6 sec and individual campaigns will play from 8 sec to 3 sec. :-*

Following the topic I would like ask your opinion if on  OS XP 32-bit system, with 3 GB RAM, would be more accurate if i set the Il2fb.exe  more that 1 gb...or not? :-\

I was using 1Gb exe with no problem. Last week, I made a mission under the fmb with the Thaïland map of FabianFred.
After testing my mission under fmb (all ok), my game CTD when I clicked to quit the mission.
So I have installed the 512 Mb exe, and there is no problem with this map under fmb. And IL-2 runs well.
My computer: Vista 32, AMD 64x2 3800+, 3Gb RAM, nVidia 9800GT 1024 DDR3.

Those .exe's are hit or miss, you just have to find the one your PC will handle, Glad you got yours spot on. ;) :D

Can anyone post a link to the 4GB exe, with TrackIR ? I'm suffering some stuttering and unable to load missions with the 1GB exe, but the 4GB version is OK - sadly, I lost it when I reinstalled my Windows OS. :/

Can someone make a suggestion for my set up? I have a compaq, 4GB memory sticks,Nvidia 9800gt 1GB Memory, 32 bit system Vista Home Premium. I have UP2.01 with the 6DOF in JMSE ativated but when I try to activate one of these exe's it says the 6dof has altered the exe and ativating any of the exe's would cause problems.

I've 4Gb Ram/280GTX 1Gb/Athlon 64 x2 6400/WinXp Pro Sp2 and I'm using 6DOF_Tracker_4GbVersion without any issue allthough OS is only 32bit.

thx for the mod altho it wont run on my q6600 , gtx 260 , 4gb ram win 7 64x ultimate  :( after i replace the exe file it wont start the game

Just installed the 1GB with 6dof exe on my PC:

4gb RAM - GTS250 1GB DDR3 - XPsp3 @ 32 bit

All work fine and now I can load the huges map without trouble!!
