Cockpit Arrangement Guide for v4.09
« on: December 10, 2009, 09:13:22 PM »

Just downloaded this cockpit guide from Mission4Today and wanted to let you all know about it. This is one of the best cockpit/instrument guides I have seen for IL-2....very professionally done! It was written by Corsican Corsair and includes actual cockpit photos of many of the planes in the game. Truly a great reference guide for cockpit geeks (such as myself). I printed this baby out and took it with me to the crapper today. Sat in there for so long that my legs went numb and I was barely able to get up.....LOL!!!   :D

Anyway, here is the link: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=3265

Cheers!

Isn't there a cockpit guide in the Il2 game folder?

KG64,

Sorry to take so long to reply! I believe I posted this thread before the site crash and thought it never got reposted. Anyway, yes, IL-2 1946 comes with an aircraft guide out of the box but the guide by Corsican Corsair does a much better job describing the instrumentation in the different cockpits in my opinion.
