Hi all, I would like just to share my ideas. All the continents that we have in game are quite extensively covered with exceptions of America and Africa.

Concerning America we have already some good maps and some of them which need to be finished. We have Cuba and Panama (in the works), Football War (that is Honduras and Salvador with parts of Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Guatemala), Porto Rico, Gran Chaco (Paraguay with parts of Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina).

I would like just to share my idea what other maps could be made and why. (Please not that it is just a suggestion, not a sort of "you must do it!" request). I hope to learn more from you as you might have some good suggestions too.

Anyway, I am always considering the potentionality of making a campaign for this map.

Yes, a testing area for Edwards. Also parts of Arizona.
Not that UFO crap, but that would really compliment Grand Canyon.

Yes, I thought about that dry lake, but also love the idea of a Nevada map, and to exxegerate, even Arizona. I never visited these places but am a big fan of seeing documentaries about this part of the western US. One day I would love to travel there. And Viking's Grand Canyon is one of my absolute favourites.

Pardon me for going OT, but do you map guys know if the terrain mesh can be improved in IL2 the way it has been improved in FSX?

By the way, Farang65, your SNARK Jungle map is the nicest ####### map I have ever flown over. Five stars, buddy, five stars! Been having a lot of fun with it since I loaded up DBW last a few days ago. Thanks.

PS: Farang65, I sorted the installation, I can upload the install folders for my hopefully correct latest version install. Already works after tests.

Yeah, I know, but there are no locations yet. But I am glad we have more Latino American countries on that very good map.

The map of whole Guatemala would be most welcome too.

Sorry,there is no mesh in IL-2
Different game engine than FS Series

Maps in IL-2 and how there worked on is totally different ,than any flight sim Mesh orientated game
which is too bad as I like Mesh orientated flight sims 

Yeah, too bad. Because the new maps you guys are making as close to or at FS quality. If the mountains could be made to FS standards it would be quite something.

In any case, as a long time IL2 flyer, a big fat thank you to you guys who make the new maps. They are greately appreciated and enjoyed.
