Lockheed C-130 Hercules
« on: December 30, 2011, 03:56:11 PM »

Hi, as all of you have noticed, IL2 has shifted to the Korean war, and is now in transition to the Vietnam war! (Angle Deck ESSEX class, SAM missiles, F8A Crusader etc. and many more planes to come).
I think a lot of people have had this bird on their mind, just no-one made a formal request for it, so here we are. I think this plane will really offer us the 4 engine cargo/transport plane we all are waiting for.

Concerning operational use, this plane has been used since the 50's up till today by 60 different countries, so it could cover literally any mid century conflict scenario.
It would also offer a lot of perspectives in terms of modding/improving the craft into many other variants (AC130 Gunship, KC130 Refuel Tanker, ski equipped for Polar freight missions etc.).
Consider also this is the largest plane to date that has proved in real life situation to land on an aircraft carrier "No Hook!" ^^.

I thought I should up this topic,

Guys since i stopped working on the B-75 for now I will work on this.

Any progress on your work? Have you started anything?

I just want to remind the outstanding potential of this plane:

3 Variants: Transport, Gunship, Tanker
Used from Vietnam till nowadays by major nations
