I looked through the topics here and haven't found anything on this so far, so here is a question.

I haven't started up DBW 1916 much at all, but today I noticed that the screen resolution is much lower than that of my normal DBW. I have 1920x1200 and when 1916 starts up, it is certainly not that high.

In game in 1916 I changed to the highest setting available, 1600x1200, but then when that is used, normal DBW also reverts to 1600x1200 instead of my monitor size of 1920x1200. The conf.ini is also changed regarding the resolution sizes.

Now, normally I thought that all resolutions are handled in the conf.ini fie. I looked for anything similar pertaining to DBW 1916 but didn't find anything. So, is it something I haven't done right for 1916? Or is there a setting somewhere for separate control of DBW 1916 resolution?

Or is it even possible to set DBW 1916 to 1920x1200?

Thanks for the above, but that's how my normal DBW conf.ini is now. It is when i start up DBW 1916, that the scree resolution is different. I'd like it for 1916 to be the same resolution ... but apparently 1916 defaults to a lower res. And then saves the lower res when I start up normal DBW ...

No biggie, but still. 1916 should work in 1900x1200 but stays at a lower res.

agracier, that makes no sense to me since there is only one conf.ini, no matter what modpack you launch.
conf.ini does not depend on DBW, UP, DBW1916. Such a correlation does not exist.
also there is no correlation between BDW1916 and resolution. This is a thing that comes from your install.

maybe you want to check you files that you switch from jsgememods... maybe there is another (accidental) conf.ini that you switch on and off when actvating mods from it?
or anywhere else for that matter....

Hi Guys,

I also have the same problem, DBW 1916 is a great game but is spoilt for me as I can't alter the resolution. I have tried the FOV mod, which works on standard DBW, but with no result. I have set conf.ini to 1280 x 768. This gives black bars on the loading screen for DBW, but perfect widescreen when the game is loaded. However, with DBW 1916, the loading screen is full size.
(Hope that makes sense ..!)
Any help would be appreciated.

the DBW 1916 seems to use some form of ecran wide as a built in feature, you cannot alter it, while DBW has this as a "add-on", which is the preferrable solution in my opinon.

i stated that elsewhere, that in any DBW1916 update, this should be done the same way as it is with DBW regular: -> make ecran wide an option, do not build it in.
