A Missing Stationary Aircraft Nationality Option
« on: October 25, 2011, 06:26:15 AM »

You can have 'blue army' RAF, RAAF and RNZAF stationary planes. However, today, I found that there is no option available for a 'blue army' USAAF stationary plane. I think it would be good to have an option to assign USAAF stationary planes to the 'blue army'. Does anyone know what would be involved in making this option available? I am assuming it is possible.

Cheers,

IIRC I also noticed that some USA options are missing in the BLUE side of the game....

For the additional countries, individual 'nations' for each service were not included. Hence on the blue side you only have USA (representing post-WW2, with 4 services), as opposed to WW2-era USAAF, USN and USMC. It is a practicality thing. If we were to include EVERY armed service, you would run out of room for other nations.

As for the stationary plane issue, I'm sure that it is probably a straight-forward fix

Anto,

Thanks for your comments.

How could a blue stationary plane option for the USAAF?

I assume that CirX would need to add the appropriate USA entry to the class file responsible for stationaries :)

Hi again Anto!

I just find what I was looking for!

If we choose to fly blue side USA for a post war scenario we have only USAAF squadrons (same situation also for GB) selectable by mission building so I was thinking that I agree with you about the choice of use only one option for postwar and what I'm wondering in my starting post above was to add all the squadron option at that one!
