I don't  know if there is a post about it, anyway I want to ask what is the best set for joystick (pitch and roll) if we use aileron full working (Phantom, Hornet...). Thanks in advance for the answers. Ciao

I have problem with Jet era mod everything  is loading fine, but when i try run any of Jet era aircraft in QMB , mission is loading and when i see the aircraft cockpit game crash to Desktop. I haven't this problem with others aircraft from sas site.

My version of  steam Il 1946 4.12.2m + SAS Modact 5.30 + SAS AI Aircraft 5.30

And when i try to run Jet Era Mod - Jet ERA MOD 1.33 + SAS Engine Mod v 2.7 + SAS Buttons 10.5 Test

Sorry, I do not understand 100%:
Do you mean set as in settings as per axis values or set as in setup aka joystick used?
For the latter, each simmer has its own preferences.
To me the pricey Logitech Extreme 3D does a very good job in IL-2, others prefer more expensive gear (does not mean better gear).


And...aileron full working? Pardon me.. :D...but I think any plane without a fully working aileron would have big trouble.. :P

As for Joystick axis ingame setup, that indeed depends on the type of plane you fly. I e.g. have 2 different presets saved in the ingame controller setup section.

Later Jets want "Engine MOD 2.7.2 western" , instead of old Engine MOD 2.7 .

They note what version Engine MOD needed in their 1st or 2nd posts.

20% CDT the game actually was 4.11.1? or 4.11 and then installed the beam me up to 4.12.2 and i get 20% CDT but i did all the install of the mod look
