I bet wrong sfs installation....check better installation procedure....

I fallowed the install instructions to the letter and no dice. If any one could enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly apreciated.

Hi everyone Im a mod newbie but casual IL2 player since it's first release

Having followed  instructions to the letter in this thread I spent several hours trying to install
Jetwar_V133 mod into IL2 4.13 . MODCAT 6.01
 !SASEngineMod (v2.7)  and 000_1956_Core_v13 (hotfix) copied into #SAS mod folder .
 jetwar sfs files in SFS_AUTO , and  lines added to air.config, planes .ru and weapons.ru (in root folder)
without success (getting to 60%).

After scratching my head for a while ,and about to give up I took a longshot and tried the following

 Tools         1:Generic Mod Enabler JSGME.exe (installed in IL2 root dir)
                 2: Folder jsgmemods    (created by JSGME.exe on install ?)  MoD file storage
             
Steps
             


1:) create a new Folder inside jsgmemods  and named it Jetwar(or anything)
2:) copy  sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs and sasamt_jetwar_02.sfs into  New (Jetwar) Folder
3:) Start JSGME.exe (Generic Mod Enabler) Jetwar Folder is listed in Available Mods (left hand pane)
4:) highlight  folder (Jetwar) and Install it (click on arrow) Jetwar Folder now appears in     
     Activated Mods   (right  hand pane)

5:)Restart IL2 MODCAT  60% 70% 90% everything Working !


re Generic Mod Enabler JSGME.exe ( Jonesoft)  freewware

 I have been using it to install MODS into #SAS I think it *MAY* have have been included in HSFX
tools ver 7  (5Gig+) 

however  as it works with a lot of games it's easy to find, and it's a very small  download 1.4Mb

Hope this works for all the other 60% 'ers

This 1956 The JetEra is compatible only to 4.10.1m / 4.11.1m / 4.12.2m as marked by title icon.

Also SAS Engine MOD 2.7 is compatible only to 4.12.2m .

Other game versions cannot treat them, you get crashing.

I've read that post, but I doubt "full-compatibility to both Engine MOD 2.7 functions and 4.13m new implementations" of that.
I don't feel the worth of trying it, I want to save my free time.
NO WARRANTY of SAS about it.

Hello! I am loving the mod! but everytime I Fire AIM-9s and any other Air to Air rocket my game crashes but Air to ground rockets work fine any help would be greatly appreciated

Help, i did everything that the creator did and i still crashing at 60. P.S my il2 is 4.12.2m steam version,sas modact 5.3 andmy engin mod is 2.7, i use sas common utils 109,buttons mod v103 and all planes mod. help, its working fine in my laptop but my pc the game crashes at 60%

Want Jetwar in 4.13? Use this:

The folks at Aviaskins converted the Engine Mod to 4.13.

No need to bend over backwards, just make sure that this is present, and then install Jetwar.
