Hi guys,new (and confused) guy here! I have a question: I would like to install Jet Era ver.1.The thing is that i have installed the HSFX ver4.1 Mod. Is that possible to install Jet Era over it(and how)? If not, can someone tell me how to proceed in order to install Jet Era? I made a copy of the game,so I can "mod" it from the beginning.Need Jet Era because in HSFX are fewer aircrafts and none have guided missile.

You are wrong to start with HSFXv4.1

Start with unmodded game and patch to v4.10.1 unmodded

Mod by applying SASModActivator latest version and latest buttons.

Now you can install the IL2 1956 JetWar mod

--- HSFX and UP mod packs compatible with v4.10.1 have not yet been released, but are probably imminent.

Thanks for the links,but have problem wit two of them (SAS ModActivator and SAS ModActivator for clean installs)-cannot find them,don't open

I have updated the old links in that tutorial. those old threads dont exsist anymore.

doesn't work.I patched the unmodded game to 4.101 but crashes at 5%.then I uninstalled it, installed again, patched to 4.09 unmodded then tried to modd it with Modactivator 2.72.doesn't work at all.what should I do exactly?

Alright Fighter lets go step by step.

1:Fresh Install.
(Run game once for check to see 100% load)
2:Patch 4.08, then Patch 4.09
(Run game, check 100%)
3:Patch 4.10 then 4.101.
(Run game check 100%)
4:Install Modact 2.72.
(annnnnnd run game, Check 100%)
Try a fresh install using that list and let us know how you go?

the right buttons for 2.72 is 8.21?...and  I open it and drag all that is inside in MODS/STD/GI/GAME/BUTTONS?

another question; how exactly I install Mod Act 2.72? in the guide it says that open the folder and drag all the items (11 items) in Il 2 sturmovik 1946 folder(but in what sub-folder?).the problem is that when I opened the 2.72 folder there are much more that 11 items.sorry for being such a pain in the...but I can't figure it out.thanks for your patience

2.72 Modact had it's own buttons, but yes, you want to place the latest 8.21 in that directory path.
Okay now, Open your SAS_Modact_v2.72_For_4.101 7zip file.

Inside you should have:
MODS
jsgmemods
FILES
Dgen
wrapper.dll
SASsound01..
SASBasic27.sfs
Readme SAS...
JSGME.ini
JSGME.exe
il2fb.exe

Now these ALL get dragged into your 1946 directory and if it asks you to overwrite, say yes.
You dont put them in a subfolder at all.

When you download additional Mods/Aircraft they'll go into the mods folder and you go into STD and alter your ini files as needed, but thats the basic install of your modact.
