Weird 20% crash~SOLVED
« on: February 25, 2011, 08:46:58 AM »

Hi

I have a problem, and I don't know what is the problem. I red in a topic, the Uranium mods work with 4.10 by deleting the classfiles inside it. So I deleted the classfiles, and put it into the MODS folder in my 4.10 install. Resoult: Crash at 20%.
Okay, then I uninstalled it, it seems it not work. But not it's the problem.
The problem is that, the game still crash at 20% :( Why? I removed the mod, so why it still crash at 20%? D:

Okay, the problem gone by deleting the New Scout planes, but I don't understand why those planes made 20% crash... :/

the 20% crash indicates a class problem so either there is a conflict with some other mod and/or  you are missing some classes and/or some file in your download could be corrupted. If you want to solve the problem go carefully through the different scouts thread and verify

No, not whatever. Frankiek, who is an SAS Team Member by the way, has just helped you out into finding the problem and helping you fix it. Show a little more respect Dinosbacsi.

You really need to start reading more. You have been here long enough to understand that.

But what is missing? The other WWI planes works well, only the "MK1B Scout/Float/Surplus 4.10 conversions w/improvements get this one 4th" planes made this problem. >_>

it's not necessarily that anything is missing. you may have mods in the wrong loading order. play around with the load order, and you might solve it yourself.

and i have to agree with Riken - Dinos, we have been generous with you in the forum considering your age, and you have a great enthusiasm, but you seem to be asking questions that are more and more simple every time, as if you are learning nothing from the mods and the tutorials.
i urge you to think twice about posting with issues that can be solved by simply learning the mod file structure, and basic stuff like that.
i am not referring to this particular thread, but in general.
most members seem to learn more as time goes by, whereas yo seem to be learning less.
and saying a pretty dismissive thing like 'whatever' to someone who is offering advice is not the way to go. this is not an actual warning, but rather a warnig that you will be properly warned if you carry on this way. our leniency does not last forever, especially with those who should know better by now. we are not going to babysit you through your modding life.
anyway, you say this is solved, so i mark it so.
