My version of DiffFM.

The main feature of this version that using old method of loading BUTTTONS (used in 4.09 ). It allows to use all mods, created for 4.09.
Original BUTTTONS from 4.10 repacked under old standard+ in addition mount last BUTTTONS from  SAS.

Sounds like a solution to use more 4.09m plane mods with a modded 4.10 game? THANK YOU, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! 8)

I have some question, I renamed both folders to these following folders:

00_Gameplay_DiffFm_409_410
00_Gameplay_DiffFm_409_410_ZINIFiles

And I got 60 percent crash when starting il-2 1946 v4.10.  I don't have any crashes with another DiffFm_410, so I thought I would report my bugs here, where I hope will help author of this mod to debug problem with these files.  I am still figuring out/troubleshooting if my other mod folders is causing conflict with this 2 folders, I truly want to be able to get these 2 mods working with my IL-2 1946 v4.10 so I can use both v4.10 and v4.09 aircraft.

This is what I have in my MODS folder:



Anyway, thank you very much for your hard work with this mods.

I copied the file "flightmodels.ini" in the folder \MODS\STD\com\maddox\IL2\objects.
I copied the two files "buttons" in the \MODS\STD\gui\game. By accepting the replacement of the old "buttons ".
I copied the file "294ABC86A89FAEB4" in the folder \MODS\STD.
Everything works perfectly!

Chaoic - I dont think you can run both mate its one or the other, whichever one you have first in your mod list will load.

I got the S-199 to work, so that's a big plus!  Got the Skyraiders to load in the QMB config screen, but when the mission loads up the game goes CTD.  Same with the He 219 Uhu.

I am quite confused here, can some of you please tell me what I am supposed to do to install this mod exactly?  I extracted both folder and put into MODS and I crashed at 60 percent load again, keep in mind, I renamed these two folders as this:

00_Gameplay_DiffFm_409_410
00_Gameplay_DiffFm_409_410_ZINIFiles

so I would keep my MODS folder organized, unless it is my fault that I caused IL-2 1946 v4.10 to crash at 60 percent?

60% are .ini problems usually air.ini - bet you have a false entry or a non existent plane in there ??

And i'm pretty sure you will not be able to run both diffm's as per my previous reply !!

yes, you should only have one DiffFM installed, and it must be the correct version,i.e: 4.10 DiffFM for 4.10m, and 4.09 DiffFM for 4.09m....

Hello,
I have this same problem , my IL-2 crashed at 60% and sometimes at 20% but please read first post - this diffFM should help to use 4.10m with all previus mods but it dosen't help for me. At the moment I use 4.10 and DiffFM_410 and few old mods are working but for example I can't use
A-26
Skyrider
MiG-15
Yak-11

and few more.
