Hello friends, hi Sergent Pepper,
my videos are created as follows:
• Start (if you own it)
TrackIR (thanks to -bb-, Gubi and Storebror).
• Start
FRAPS, choose your preferred settings and "minimize" FRAPS to the taskbar.
• Start your (whatever) game, for me it is #WAW3.
• Start FRAPS with the "Screen Capture Hotkey" you have set.
• When you have finished your mission, press the "Screen Capture Hotkey" again and exit FRAPS.
• Start your video creation program, my program is called "
Shotcut", below I give you a list of links.
• Open your previously designated "Temp Fraps" folder (
however named and wherever...) and copy the ".avi" files you want.
The advantage of FRAPS:
Very good image quality, runs very stable, without jerking and without sound problems. No unwanted "brands"!
The disadvantage of Fraps:
In contrast to the usual ":ntrk" recordings, it does not make sense to press the map button in the game while the video is being recorded.
Another disadvantage are the very large ".avi" files. You need a lot of hard disk space for the excellent picture quality.
Luckily, the .avi files are just temp files that will be deleted later.
