Just got back into this, forgot I had Hyperlobby even installed on my PC...

Though, not one server running BAT. Just joined up with a guy yesterday for a test run on a coop, worked fine for me.

Is there a server running that is not on Hyperlobby?

I suggest contacting guys who are on Discord. They posted links somewhere on the forum. There were at least two groups, as I remember.

14 missions for several aircraft over Ukraine from 2022 to… eternity?

Some explanation first.
Since the war began in 2014, I never wanted to bring it into Il2 1946 or any game environment.
The reality was harsh and not for playtime. Or so I thought.
One day in 2023, I returned home from yet another trip across the country and broke the self-imposed taboo.
Maybe it was the effect of seeing the scenes of destruction or I just needed to vent my frustration that accumulated for years.
Whatever. Before unpacking, I sat at my desktop, launched the Il2 1946 BAT JTW
and quickly made a mission where I could pretend to sit in the cockpit of a Su-25 and break something evil on the ground.
I flew the mission and… felt much better. Flight sim therapy, wow!
Then I made another mission. And another. Down the rabbit hole of FMB…

After several months, the result is here.

Red Star Golden Trident: the set of single missions for BAT JTW.


What is there:
    • 14 missions
    • 7 maps
    • over 50 aircraft types, 6 of which are operated by the player
    • many ground and air targets
    • enemy opposition in the form of AAA, SAM, fighters
    • extensive briefings

What’s not there:
    • the “real” history
    • the simulation of the modern air war in all its complexity and lethality

Create a new folder “BU” (it means Blue Ukraine) in your BAT installation in /Missions/Single(The Jet Age)/.
Unzip the downloaded pack. There is the folder “Red Star Golden Trident” which contains all missions.
Place this folder in /Missions/Single(The Jet Age)/BU in your BAT installation.
Start BAT JTW, go to Single Missons, then:
Folder – Single (The Jet Age), Air Force – Ukraine, Mission Type – Red Star Golden Trident.
Choose the mission to play.
Play.

When things freeze in QMB, pretty much it is due to a non-compatible aircraft having been selected in last session.  Where as the BAT modules overcome that, I think with stock and MODACT it is still an issue.

Go to "[BAT installation location]\Quicks" and delete ".last.quick"

I use a quick batch file called dellastquick.bat in same directory for these issues and copy a shortcut to my desktop.

Tried out "Stock Game" and "SAS Modcat 5.3" in the selector...

Game opened normal, but when I clicked on the QMB everything froze and locked up, when I CTL ALT Deleted, my cursor was frozen on my desktop...

Same thing happened in both.

Only way I got out of it was by logging off my user profile and logging back in.

I never play these on BAT so I have no idea what happened.  Using WAW module works fine.

What is the difference between that and the SAS Modcat 5.3 that is in BAT?

Trying to get back into multi, but no one runs the same thing on there, even the stock games are not what we have with BAT.  One server is 4.13.4 stock another is 4.14.1 stock, no one is even running the 4.12 stock.
