I was able to get the plane to function in 409, this version should also function in most other versions of the game.

Gio was kind enough to repair the mapping defect at the top of fuselage.

Flightmodel has been corrected so no more nosing over at take off.

Corrected 409+ version:

Thanks to Benelli and Airborne for their input.

Works in 4.12! Thanks, CWatson, you did a heck of a nice job. By the way, anyone have a template (Don't care if makeshift) for this plane? I wanna make some hacks representing the PV-2 Ventura.

Lines for the plane.ru file:

BeechCraft-18        C-45B Expeditor

I think it's more fitting, as the military version was named as such.

That's great. Thank you indeed. For some reason I find the design of this particular aircraft extremely satisfying. Now I can fly it all over the world!

Excellent, thanks.

Bug report:

During crashed landing, plane is sinking into ground like in water :( (TFM 4.12, Slovakia map).

Skin folder doesn't work (no skins available, although folder Beechcraft containing skins was copied into PaintSchemes/Skins).
Solved: A skin folder name should be changed to "BeechCraft-18"

Greetings,

The sinking bug has been around since the beginning of the mod, everyone already noticed, it's just hard to fix. Still, makes for a fun adventure during cockpit view.

I know it has been good while since anyone has posted on this thread, but I was hoping there was someone out there that was able to get the "armed" version of this Beechcraft up in the air and how? I tried the original that required the patch over the civilian Beechcraft. This showed the guns in the QMB but I could never get it to show up. I tried the first version with the new slot. I added the antenna patch all was good and then added the gun lines to the heir.im and the plane disappeared. Yes I had no trouble with the last version whatsoever. Sure hope someone was able to fly this Bird in it's armed version. Thanks in advance for any help...PS: trying to fly it in VP's modpak.
