OK guys. This map has been in the works for quite some time now and was nearly done. Maybe it's better to just release something for the while being. There is now a preliminary wip download for the map on the first post.

A while ago I added some 2048 textures. So you'll need the 2048 mod working, or else you can resize the textures with 'spain_2048_' as prefix back down to 1024 pixels. Note that this applies for the trees as well. Everything is self-contained in the map's texture folder.

The preliminary wip will hopefully be redone at a later date, updating the actors to flesh out airfields and several of the larger villages. Otherwise it is now reasonably complete and very flyable. The landscape is sparsely populated as is anyway.

I am not really certain if you can install the 2048 texture mod ... I would probably think so, as it involves replacing game dll's and adding some classfiles ... but really have no experience at all.

I'd say if you are not certain, then resize the textures ... it's the safest option. Don't forget to also resize the trees:

And I'd also maybe suggest installing a separate version for DBW 1.71. It will not interfere with your old install. And maybe you'll find it to you're liking ....

This is probably because of the 2048 textures ... you need to install and have wrking the 2048 hi res textures mod.

If you don't wish to install this mod, or if it doesn't work for you. Then resize all textures beginning with Spain_2048_ ... and make them 1024x1024 - but keeping the same names.
